When students hand you lemons, grow trees!

A student brought in about 12 lemons from her tree. I was lucky enough to get 4! I used 3 and with the last one I collected the seeds, ate the lemon, and then youtubed how to start the seeds.

 I started them today so I will post how they progress in the next few weeks. I hope they work out. If they do, I think I will plant them in little pots and give them to the Aussie teachers I work with as farewell gifts. Who doesn't want a lemon tree?  They are expensive to buy and I think people will like the thought and care put into this.
